Even though fin tube heat exchanger is advantageous in good heat transfer performance and corrosion resistance, it also has weakness. The inner side is easy occurred with water scale. To keep the high heating efficiency, it is necessary to clean the radiator interior regularly. Otherwise, the accumulated scale will corrode the whole fin fan cooler and affect the heating transfer efficiency.

How to clean inside tube of fin fan heat exchanger?

1. If fin fan is for cooling use, the water flow inside will be in large quantity. When thermal cycling accurs, the radiator inside tube will have various kinds of incrustation due to different water quality. The right clean method is, stop equipment warming and put some scale dissolving agent into water and stay for some minutes, then discharge the scale directly and pour clean water.

2. When the fin fan heat exchanger is working, put some solvent inside tube water. This can stop the presence of water scale even under cooling and heating cycle system, also can reduce internal corrosion of radiators. The melting scale will exhaust directly to ensure the internal smooth circulation inside tube.

3. If the fin fan heat exchange is with serious water scale, we should disassemble the equipment and inject high density of scale dissolvent. Block up the nozzle on both sides completely. When it is clean with no scale, then we install the equipment.

Keep the fin tube inside of air cooled condenser or fin fan unit clean is imperative to maintaining optimal performance and reliability.
